THE CHALLENGE / REQUIREMENT
Our client's enterprise application was in Silverlight technology that lacked mobile compatibility. This made the rendering of the pages very slow. Further, they were faced with the situation of Microsoft planning to end their support for Silverlight.
Our client therefore wanted to revamp their existing enterprise product with latest technologies to leverage availability in mobile platforms and improve the speed.
We migrated the existing Silverlight application to HTML and angular application. Since it was a huge product with a lot of business logic, the existing BAL (Business Access Layer) was retained, and only the UI Layer was updated with HTML and angular.
