The client is a multinational, insurance service provider. It was facing difficulties due to inefficient legacy systems, which were significantly affecting the performance across departments and functions.

The client wanted a policy administration system that could:

• Automate business processes across different countries

• Enhance performance and run a legacy document generation process

• Trace requirements and deal with a high volume of data patches

SOLUTION

 

We provided extra, a policy administration system built on Pega, to automate business processes. The application includes three major sub-applications: new business, renewals, and endorsements (MTA) for property and casualty (P&C). We were able to:

• Implement the software in 13 European countries

• Provide implementations in eight European languages

• Provide 24, country-specific products

• Cover more than 1000 test cases

• Work on multi-vendor implementations
