Mphasis’ delivery models help you fulfill specific consumer demands promptly
At Mphasis, we understand that the rapidly evolving technology landscape brings with it a new era of consumer needs, business objectives, and technological frameworks. With our testing delivery models, we look at fundamentally transforming the way businesses execute testing and ensure better process optimization, achieve cost savings, and enable faster time to market.
Through Mphasis testing solutions and services, we take ownership of the client’s delivery of services. We provide specific points of contact (SPOCs) for projects/service lines/workstreams. We also put forth performance indicators that are reported regularly to ensure that the client stays in control.
Benefits:
• Optimizes cost and quality of services
• Focuses on the end customer need and client management
• Eliminates micromanagement of offshore/nearshore and onsite resources by clients
• Structures comprehensive and uniform communication between Mphasis SPOC and client stakeholders
• Utilizes Mphasis’ matured processes, best practices, and accelerators
• Supports long-term sustenance
The pricing model is based on delivered test units/ volume of the test unit such as test cases, automation scripts, execution-only packages, etc. A catalog-based service can be used for functional testing, which can be manual, automated, or performance testing. There are predefined catalogs for test design and execution. Service level agreements (SLAs) are a driving force behind TaaS.
Benefits:
• Enables standardization with well-defined inputs and outcome
• Provides standalone and bundled catalogs
• Offers a scalable engagement model
• Complies with quality standards as per SLAs
• Provides discrete packaged services (with fixed price/scope) with service governance (service catalog and demand management)
• Renders an on-demand consumption model based on demand forecasts
This ensures the onboarding of resources on a fixed capacity basis to meet the current need. The client provides knowledge transfer (KT) on domain and custom requirements, standard operating procedures (SOP), and quality assurance (QA) procedures. We, at Mphasis, plan and use these resources for quality checks, DevOps, or automation environments. We also ensure delivery continuity in the event of attrition and measure and generate a baseline capacity against initial and long-term requirements.
Benefits:
• Fulfils not only the current technological and domain requirements but also retains knowledge for future expansion needs, if any
• Ensures services are in line with the service level agreement
• Aligns start-up and fulfilment time with client demand forecasted
The hub is a virtual shared service operating platform, which contains standard operating procedures, a shared knowledge repository, project-specific test assets, reusable assets, test automation frameworks, and software quality assurance for key performance areas (KPAs) and process compliance guidelines. It also contains management information system (MIS) on future demands concerning the type of testing service, full-time equivalent (FTE) requirements, and FTE release schedules. The spokes are physical entities consisting of resources supporting ongoing projects. Each spoke operates on a flexible, hybrid resourcing model, which includes managed capacity, managed services, and Testing as a Service.
Benefits:
• Facilitates shared services across locations and FTEs
• Enables following the sun model by utilizing the time zone difference across offshore and onsite locations
• Ensures that cost arbitrage is achieved through a two-dimensional structure, which includes offshore delivery and by cross-leveraging resources across technology stacks
