BUSINESS CHALLENGE
The client was using the Google suite of products, which was too expensive. This had to be migrated to the Microsoft 365 suite within strict deadlines before the licensing renewal was due.
The client was also looking at enhancing the process and adding automation.
Mphasis migrated the client’s system to Microsoft 365 suite. Microsoft Powershell™ scripting automation was chosen for user creation and mapping, and a new reporting tool was developed for tracking 9500 user mailboxes.
The client could achieve a saving of USD 1.5 million. The migration was completed within the required timeframe, and the PowerShell scripting automation resulted in 80 percent reduction in efforts for user creation.
